Mahogany 6 panel door damage

Jennifer, December 2021, on the 6 Lite TDL Wood Door

We recently purchased one of your mahogany unfinished 6 panel doors. While we expected that we would need to do some light sanding, there was a lot of finish work that was not very impressive.

Nail holes we had to fill. Trim pieces around windows not tight and flush(gaps) Door cuts around bolt holes sloppy and splintering. Door splittering at bottom corners and coming up,

We would love to recommend y’all because we are a larger DIY Instagram account that are restoring our 1907 Farmhouse, but we will have to share while your customer service and turn around time has been awesome and the door IS gorgeous, that people should beware that the door will have imperfections and how the wood is already splintering upon arrival.

Thank you,

Jennifer

We searched a lot of doors before deciding on this one. To be totally honest here... every single day my husband & I say to each other " I love our front door!". This is a beautiful door and all we hoped it would be. Thank you so much!
